The Ethiopian Heritage Trust was established in 1992 by a group of individuals who wished to make a personal contribution to the preservation, conservation and restoration of old and historic buildings and sites of natural beauty. The Trust is an independent charity, non-political, non-religious and non-profit making. Its membership is open to all.
Our mission
To save old historic buildings and areas of scenic beauty in Ethiopia from destruction or disfigurement and to encourage their appropriate repair or restoration and improvement of their setting.
